MAXIM JAGO

Conference Director

Maxim Jago is a multi-award winning filmmaker, screenwriter, author, consultant futurist, and public speaker. He’s the author of some of the standard texts used by film schools around the world, as well as books and articles exploring emerging technology and trends. He’s also well known for his online and public training courses in film production and post-production.
As a consultant futurist, Maxim provides support and perspective on developments for several media and technology organizations. He’s Chief Innovation Officer for the film distribution company FilmDoo, and Chief Futurist for Core.Live.
Having directed over 30 short films, and two feature films, winning awards as a director and screenwriter, he's a regular speaker at film festivals and media technology conferences such as Cannes, Berlinale, Sundance, Raindance, TIFF, NAB, IBC, BVE and SxSw.
He brings far-reaching experience and understanding to the future of advanced technology for creativity and storytelling.

After graduating from Middlesex University with a degree in Television production, Sarah went on to work on a number of independent short films, one of which received a BAFTA nomination.  She has Production Co-ordinated numerous television programmes which led her to Production Manage a run theatre tours all over the country.  Her success and experience saw her step into the creative exhibitions industry, managing projects for clients such as Savills UK's rural shows, Burgess Yaghts at the Monaco Yacht Show, Oracle at Mobile World in Barcelona and Warner Bros UK to name a few.  Her experience pans years, always bringing new ideas and positivity.   

ABBY McGOVERN

Marketing and Speaker Liaison

Performing in an array of West End Shows, including Billy Elliot, Matilda and Oliver, Abby has relished in the joys of the creative industry from a young age.

Recently graduating from UCL with a BSc in Anthropology, her passions invite studying humanity in all its material, cultural and technological aspects.

Since her appearance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, she went on to Direct numerous plays at UCL. Having worked with Pearson Education and Debatemate, co-leading a Debating programme at the Bamboo Schools in Nepal, her interests lie in watching young people flourish creatively in education.

Co-founding the start-up Humble Warrior Elixirs during her first two years of University, Abby’s experience stretches across varied fields, aiming to bring enthusiasm and light to every corner.

CEO and owner of professional photography processing lab with a staff of 17. Produced photo exhibits, multi-vision shows, shown in Iceland, Europe and USA. Owner and General Manager a Digital Asset Management company for over 19 years. Founder of FocusOnNature 2008 to the present. Founder an owner of Hugbunadarsetrid ehf., Adobe Certified Gold Reseller in Iceland. Technical producer of Iceland Revealed image exhibit Smithsonian Museum. Book layout editor Iceland Revealed photography project. Iceland local project manager for Good Morning America direct broadcasting from the Holurhaun volcano eruption with a over 35 in staff. Countless other project manager, visual presentations production in Iceland or for staging overseas.
