  • Imagineering from a Kid's Point of View

In this session, 37-year Disney veteran and former SVP of Imagineering, Joe Lanzisero, talks about how to ignite your creativity through some of his favorite kid tips. He says, "When I tap into the kid in me I'm able to see the wonder in the world, looking at the things that I design through this kind of "kids lens" which is about innocence, authenticity and looking for the fun. I wholeheartedly believe in these tips philosophically and still follow them to this day.

  • Creativity from Intention to Product

Physical products take the shape they have been given or of the things that hold them - to be useful, they are intentionally shaped or contained. The same holds true for transforming an idea into a reality, and awareness of the planning discipline that businesses use to produce can serve as a useful framework for creatives. It doesn’t have to limit creative energy, but can be useful in shaping it into a reality. This talk reviews the basic elements of strategic planning and how awareness of them can make a creative more effective.

With over 600 original stories shared in AwareNow Magazine, a summary illustrating the power of 'storyasking' is unveiled.

  • The Power of the Unbridled Quiet and Confidence of Creative Spirit

What if your superpower was to give other humans the ability to realize their unlimited creative potential and true nature?

What do we admire about other creative’s success? The number of times we know that they pushed aside personal and imagined limitations to achieve the calmness of mind to pursue and create in the dark. What’s the inner reward of creative solace? A finished work, or simply the confidence of having a craft worth pursuing.

Confidence is built by doing the work you love to do. By knowing you paid the price of the uninterrupted quiet - the lonely silence that can be so full, and only you know that you have allowed the space for the creative genius to rise.

The power of the unknown and the willingness of the creative to go for the ride in the unknown is the same intelligence that I’ve used to create successful business strategy and a fulfilling creative life.

Join me for a provocative exploration of the fortitude of silence and the joy of communion with imagination.

However, how often have you thought about the power of creativity in manifesting the life you want, in enabling you to survive the most traumatic events in life or ultimately supporting you as you journey towards the end of life? Creativity can indeed take your life from empty to full, from meaningless to profound, from aimless wandering to deep discovery, from chaos to purpose, from darkness to light and from fear to love. This presentation and personal experience will deepen your connection, understanding and love for one of the most extraordinary things in life - Creativity.
