INSPIRATION

  • Bob Jacobs

    Jacobs is a senior NASA spokesperson and serves as Director of History and Information Services for the Office of Communications. A two-time national Emmy award winner and honored strategic communicator, he has been an innovator in the use of emerging technologies to engage the world in NASA's compelling stories of exploration and discovery.

    He launched the agency’s social media use in Nov. 2008 and today it is one of the most powerful brands in the world. He also is responsible for the NASA’s primary internet homepage and NASA Television.

    Jacobs is a published author and editor of several books, and he has been honored with five NASA medals for exceptional service, outstanding leadership, and the agency’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service Medal.

    Jacobs co-led the agency’s involvement with Universal film’s First Man, 20th Century Fox’s Hidden Figures and The Martian, and many other film and documentary projects.

  • Begüm Aydinoglu

    Begüm received her postgraduate Architecture and Urbanism M.Arch degree from Architectural Association School of Architecture, Design Research Laboratory (AADRL). Her focus is on the contemporary use of robotics in architecture and construction as well as new ways of living such as co-living in high performance cities.

    She has worked as an architect and computational designer in several international projects including Seoul Robot Science Museum and the Hyperloop system.

  • Joe Lanzisero

    Joe began as an animator at Disney and worked his way up to the top of Imagineering. He’s served as creative lead on over $9B in built projects to date including Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland, Toy Story Land, Mystic Point, Grizzly Gulch at Hong Kong Disneyland, and dozens of classic Disney rides, shows, and attractions in the parks and aboard Disney Cruise Ships.

    Two-time TEA award winner and recipient of the Disneyana Fan Club’s Disney Legend Award, Joe Lanzisero is a true celebrity in the world of Themed Entertainment. Lanzisero studied at CalArts alongside Tim Burton, John Lasseter, Brad Bird and other luminaries of animation and film before becoming a Disney animator in the early 1980s.

  • Allié McGuire

    Allié Merrick McGuire is the Co-Founder of Awareness Ties™ (www.awarenessties.us), a platform that raises awareness for causes one story at a time. With their monthly magazine, quarterly broadcast, and social impact campaigns they raise awareness for causes and support for nonprofits. Allié believes that words are the most powerful tools we have and that our voices are the most valuable asset we will ever possess. As a spoken word artist, Allié illustrates the power of words with 'articulation' - the 'art' of speaking.

  • Will Tams

    For the past 20 years Will has been working with talented design teams that have created exceptional work. Prior to founding The Collective Spark, Will was the Co-Founder and Director of The Invisible Spark Design Studio where he oversaw the creative processes and projects, striving to design and deliver unparalleled work. Previous to that, he worked with Apple Inc. in Cupertino and also with San Francisco-based Factor Design. Over his career, he has designed materials for a broad range of clients including Stanford Law School, Nike, Environmental Defense Fund, Apple, UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and Mindful Schools, among others. Will studied at Brown University and RISD where he completed a self-designed major on the creative process, receiving honors following his senior exhibit and thesis presentations. Will lives in Berkeley with his wonderful wife and two inspiring children.

  • Michael Bernier

    Michael Bernier, founder and lead designer of Bernier Design Group, a full-service Landscape and Exterior Design firm located in Los Angeles, California, is a champion for sustainable design and installation practices. Michael’s 25-year career as an award-winning designer has had stints in fashion and sportswear design, branding, advertising and product design, working with global brands such as Coca-Cola, MTV, Nike, and Paramount Pictures.

    Michael’s mission is to connect people back to Nature. “I want to show people that we are intimately connected to our environment, and the simplest way to do that is through the garden. People relax and breathe deeper when sitting peacefully in their tranquil gardens, they can feel their innate connection to Nature. Calm, content people make better choices, and better choices make for a better planet. I really just want to make the world a more beautiful place, while empowering others to discover their own creative genius.”

  • Erin McPherson

    Erin McPherson oversees the content business across Verizon’s growing number of consumer platforms and services.

    Prior to Verizon, Erin served as Chief Content Officer at Maker Studios, the world’s largest network of short-form online video, acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2014. In her role at Maker, Erin oversaw the development and production of hit YouTube programming as well as innovative franchises across Disney. Before joining Maker, Erin was Vice President and Head of Video at Yahoo, where she led the company’s foray into original video and oversaw the award-winning Yahoo Studios.

  • Amy Peck

    Amy Peck is the CEO of EndeavorXR, a leading global VR/AR (XR) consulting firm. She is a recognized futurist and speaks globally on XR, the Metaverse and emerging tech. She works with Fortune 500 companies on XR strategy, digital transformation and insights into the Metaverse and the Future of Work.

    Amy is an angel investor and Venture Partner at the Capital Region XR Accelerator. She holds multiple Advisory Board roles, and is co-chair of Prospera Women, a global organization supporting female-led startups.

  • Mike Libecki

    Dell Ambassador, National Geographic Explorer & Adventurer of the Year Mike Libecki has completed more than 85 major expeditions all over the planet, from Afghanistan to Antarctica.

    He is a producer, director, videographer, photographer, humanitarian and conservationist.

    Mike and his daughter Lilliana founded a nonprofit that focuses on conservation and humanitarian work around the world.

  • Billie Carn

    Billie Carn is the Founder/Chief Maverick at Maverick Wisdom. She is the author and illustrator of Maverick Wisdom, which shares insights and stories from her research on disruptive enterprising maverick innovators who challenge the status quo in their industries.

    Billie’s evolution from children’s nurse to explorer of different thinkers to entrepreneur has given her a unique perspective. She combines curiosity, play, data, and novel different thinking to strategize the most innovative ways to challenge convention. Along the way she reinvents how work is done to bring creative problem solving to life, because innovation without execution is just an idea.

  • Roger Firestien

    Roger L. Firestien, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Center for Applied Imagination at SUNY Buffalo State, as well as a guest lecturer at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine.

    As president of Innovation Resources, Inc., he runs Breakthrough Labs, and has created a series of courses for Open Sesame.

    Mike also helped drive Microsoft's official "experimental outlet" program within The Garage, helping small teams of passionate employees from all across the world get their ideas directly into the hands of customers as experiments.

  • Chrissy Levett

    Chrissy Levett - Positive Creative Activist. UK based Designer and Creative Director, who studied at the Royal College of Art in London.

    She’s won a number of creative industry awards, is a TEDx speaker, a published author believing creative thinking is vital for us to solve the world’s greatest challenges. Now Founder & CEO for Creative Conscience a global movement set up to empower, reward, train and support creative thinkers to use their talents for social & environmental impact.

    Chrissy has an Honorary Doctorate in Design and is passionate about behaviour change and creativity as a force for good.

  • Marty Zalewski

    Marty Zalewski is a new generation of global business leaders who combines Mindfulness with innovative Design Thinking tools to design pathways to attaining Joy. His Six Principles of Mindfulness are the foundation of the Leading with Joy framework to becoming a leader and experiencing Joy at work, home, life.

    A pragmatic visionary, Marty made a corporate career out of human interconnectedness putting the Human in the center of design for some of the world’s most loved brands and organizations.   • Bob Chiang

    Bob Chiang is a Mindfulness Coach, Hypnotherapist, and a Tai Chi Instructor. Bob works with people from all walks of life, helping them manage the difficulties they are experiencing by using mindfulness as a way to learn more about themselves.

    He runs courses for groups of learners at all levels, has hosted one day Tai Chi events for a more in-depth look at the art, and teaches workshops for corporate clients. The Tai Chi form he teaches is the Yang-style short form. As a hypnotherapist, it has opened up another dimension to working with people. The mind has so much potential and endless creative possibilities.

  • John Yaglenski

    John is a serial entrepreneur, story teller, futurist, visionary and dreamer. He leads IEEE-USA’s Washington, DC Communications team and is responsible for guiding the strategy for all public relations, website and social media messaging to consistently articulate IEEE-USA’s mission, vision and brand. Prior to joining IEEE, John worked as General Manager of Web Development for Erol’s Internet, which at the time was the 4th largest Internet Service Provider in the country behind AOL, Earthlink and MindSpring serving more than 350,000 customers. While there, he founded INTERCOT.com – one of the Internet’s oldest (23+ years) and largest Walt Disney World vacation planning websites.

  • Paul Doherty

    Paul is Chairman and CEO of TDG (The Digit Group), a globally renowned and award-winning architect who is one of the world’s most sought after thought leaders, strategists and integrators of process, technology, and business. Paul's current work is as Chairman of TDG Global Ventures, a Smart City real estate development company that provides financing, design-build and innovative technology solutions around the world.   • Frederick Van Johnson

    Frederick Van Johnson is a photographer and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience working with many of the Fortune 500 companies that dominate the photography industry.

    A former United States Air Force Combat Photojournalist, today he is the Editor-in-Chief of the This Week in Photo (TWiP) podcast network, and former Chairman of the board for Brooks Institute. He was awarded the prestigious Air Force Commendation medal for his key role in facilitating the US Air Force transition from film-based imaging to digital.

    He was key in the development of iPhoto, Apple’s revolutionary photo management application. He went on to Adobe Systems, where he helped manage marketing for Lightroom and Photoshop.

  • Mark Mann

    Mark Mann is a celebrity and advertising photographer. He was born in Glasgow, before he began assisting innovative fashion photographers Nick Knight and Miles Aldridge, learning the ropes and building his own body of work.

    Capturing a moment that feels real with a well-known personality means watching for that brief flicker of true feeling that peeks out from behind the mask, the unselfconscious laugh, the beat before the in-breath.

    Mark shares anecdotes and lessons learned from capturing the inner light of some of the most extraordinary and highly celebrated personalities in the world.

PERFORMING ARTS

  • Kelly Sweeney

    Kelly Sweeney is a professional dancer and choreographer based in Los Angeles. She started off as a competition dancer, training and in all styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and jazz funk, where she won several titles and scholarships. At age 15, she started working professionally and since then, you can see her dancing in movies such as “The Little Rascals Save the Day”, and the Netflix original “The Prom”, dancing alongside Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman. She has also appeared on Disney Channel for “Holidays Unwrapped, a musical special”, “Hall Of Villains, a halloween special”, ABC’s show “Subergatory”, NBC’s “World of Dance” season 2, Nickelodeon/Jojo Siwa music videos, and the Brat channel show “Total Eclipse”.

    She has also done live performances such as performing at Youtube’s convention “Vidcon” for 2 years - in 2018 for Jojo Siwa, and in 2019 for Disney Channel’s “Disney Descendants” performance. She choreographed a music video for Dreamworks production for the artist Ky Baldwin, assisted choreography for the Nickelodeon special “NickTok”, and has taught in Argentina and France. Dancing has always been Kelly’s biggest passion and love, and her goal is to spread positivity and inspiration to anyone working with her or learning from her.

  • Gordon MacLellan

    Better known as Creeping Toad, Gordon MacLellan is an artist and a storyteller who works with environmental and historical themes. With more than 30 years of freelance experience, Gordon runs events, workshops and training courses with groups from activity days with schools and on holiday playschemes to training courses at some of Britain’s leading environmental centres. After training as a zoologist, Gordon combined his love of ecology and delight in people to create Creeping Toad which sets out to “help groups find ways of celebrating the relationships between people, places and wildlife”.

    He is the author of a number of art and poetry books. Most recently, he has been the Arts Coordinator for the CelebrationEarth! project and is currently Arts Advisor for the 8 BILLION initiative.

  • Andrea Sweeney Blanco

    Andrea Sweeney Blanco is a bilingual and bi-costal working actor, singer, producer and coach. Originally from Monterrey Mexico, Andrea splits her time between the Latin and American markets in the world of Entertainment. Having gotten her BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College, she worked as a radio host for a popular radio segment, Standing Room Only on 88.9FM for Broadway and Filmmusic. Since then, Andrea has appeared as an actor in 6 national commercial campaigns, gathered multiple international film credits and developed an Actor's Studio Theatre Program for a private high school in LA.

    She has now been Line Producer and 1st AD for various independent feature films and continues to coach actors. Andrea believes all creative endeavors require proactive collaboration, and creativity is just as much a discipline a sit is a form of divine inspiration.

FINE ART

  • Gordon Scott

    Gordon's esoteric and mystic journey began at a very young age. This has always been the accompaniment to his artistic vision. He has exhibited widely in the UK, and has many works in private collections. Artful in life and mystic in heart is his ethos. The balance of which is the fulcrum to endless visual landscapes which arrive spontaneously.

    We are struck by the otherworldly atmosphere and lavish detail in his visual narratives and the intensity of the sitters gaze in his portraiture. Each new artwork elaborates a narrative which teaches Gordon and informs the next step. This process reaches new potential in his exhibitions and presentations. "The visceral theatre of his soul," he tells us, where sharing insight is pivotal to the artistic process. This dynamic completes the circuit of production and evolution and it's fulfilment in the awaiting audience.

MUSIC

  • Tommy Raps

    Formerly known as So-So Topic, Tommy Raps has been independently writing and producing music since 2011, while performing alongside today's innovators of creative culture, such as Flying Lotus, Snoop Dogg, Leon Bridges, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, and Thundercat. So-So has shared his story across a colourful spectrum of settings, ranging from TED Talks to Adult Swim Fest.

    After receiving multiple music placements in Augustine Frizzells' 2018 Sundance hit "Never Goin Back" and landing music in Spike Lee's Netflix series "She's Gotta Have It", -topic is currently working along with his TeamFromNowhere co-writer/cohort Marquis "KoolQuise" Warren, producing a Dallas, TX based net series, titled 'Going Nowhere Fast!'.

  • Patrick Cannell

    Patrick Cannell is a composer and producer based in LA. Recent projects include the scores to Dreamworks' 'Dragons', Academy Award-nominated José Rivera’s "The Fall of a Sparrow," Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated Zaza Urushadze’s "Anton," and Rashaad Ernesto Green’s "Premature," which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

    Beyond film, projects include an upcoming Netflix original series from Academy Award-nominated writer/director Carlos Saldanha (Ice Age, Rio, Ferdinand), Clio and Cannes Gold Lion award-winning TV, Internet and Super Bowl commercials, the score for an innovative Broadway musical dramedy, and orchestral scores for permanent exhibits at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.

  • Samantha Tauber (VNCCII)

    Sami Tauber [VNCCII] is the Founder, Multi-Media Artist, and Chief Metaverse Officer at VNCCII.

    With a background as a music artist, singer-songwriter and producer, she is the creative technologist that adopts the virtual persona of a Web 3 SuperHeroine Super Sentient A.I character, VNCCII.

    Sami has been listed as one of the Top 10 Personalities disrupting the music industry in 2022. It is VNCCII’s intention to provoke creative, divergent thinking that benefits culture and empowers the future of humanity.

  • Alberto Moreno

    Alberto Moreno has received numerous awards including 7 Regional Emmys. He has also composed music scores for television and film.

    His approach to his work in the entertainment industry has always been about how does it feel - is it in the groove. So what is that? How do you get there? To that groove’, swing, mojo, “The Secret”, in the flow, abundance, manifesting success thing. Alberto in this session will explore and share the knowledge he has acquired over his long career in achieving just that. How to be in the flow… in the groove.

  • Jalen James Acosta

    Jalen is an all around prolific multi-talented artist/artrepreneur, who has made his mark in several verticals of the entertainment industry as a record producer, filmmaker, technologist and global motivational speaker of Dominican, African, Native and European descent, born and based in New York City.

    Jalen is an ex-original member/songwriter & co-producer of an internationally famed multi platinum selling Latin group; he has multiple credited roles on TV and Film as well as starred in campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world. As an entrepreneur, the founder and CEO of World Artists United and is a General Partner of ME Ventures.

  • John Thomas Dodson

    John Thomas Dodson is an orchestra conductor, mindfulness teacher, consultant, author and speaker. He has conducted in renowned venues like Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center, leading concerts with orchestras in the United States, Greece, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

    Dodson participated in programs exploring Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. He founded Blue Heron Mindfulness Living, where he coaches high-performance leaders and performers.

LITERATURE

  • Renaldo Lawrence

    Renaldo Lawrence is an elearning developer and educator recognized by Adobe, Apple, and Microsoft. Renaldo is an Adobe Education Leader, Apple Distinguished Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator and Educator Trainer, and an Advanced Skills teacher. He holds his masters in education. He is an author of comic books, audio and paperback books.

FILM, TV & GAMES

  • Elliot Grove

    Elliot Grove is a Canadian-born film producer and founder of the Raindance Film Festival in 1993 and the British Independent Film Awards in 1998. Elliot lectures on screenwriting and filmmaking throughout the UK, Europe, North America and Japan.

  • Tamika Lamison

    Tamika Lamison is an award winning actor, writer, director and producer. She graduated from The American University, Howard University and is an AFI Alum of the prestigious Directing Workshop for Women. Tamika was a Research/Consultant at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences before accepting a position as the Exec.

    In an effort to give back, Tamika created and founded, MAKE A FILM FOUNDATION (MAFF), a non-profit that grants ‘film wishes’ to children who have serious or life-threatening medical conditions by teaming them with noted actors, writers and directors who help them create short film legacies.

  • Cirina Catania

    Cirina is CEO of Catania Studios, an international filmmaking company, one of the co-founders and former director of the Sundance Film Festival, and former Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at MGM-UA and United Artists.

    Cirina is a long-time member of the Producers Guild, Writers Guild, IATSE Cinematographers Guild, the National Press Club, National Press Photographer’s Association, and more. She has worked as a writer, director, supervising producer, cinematographer, post-producer, or marketing exec on over 150 film, television and new media projects for the big screen as well as for networks such as National Geographic and Discovery.

  • Adam Howard

    Adam Howard won four Primetime Emmy Awards and has been nominated nine times of this VFX work on Star Trek.

    His passion for visual effects in film and television led him to be one of the first digital artists on the planet creating ground breaking digital effects and animation for ABC-TV Melbourne and AAV. He moved to Los Angeles in 1990 getting his dream jobs of working on Star Trek: The Next Generation and MacGyver, and a few years later working as a senior artist at George Lucas's Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).

    Adam has worked on 140 feature films including Titanic, Birdman, Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Mission Impossible 3, Rush Hour 3, Jarhead, Cliffhanger, The Sandlot, The River Wild, Pee Wee's Big Holiday, War of the Worlds, Star Trek: First Contact, The Day After Tomorrow and Bram Stokers’s Dracula.

    He also created visual effects and animation for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, Will & Grace, That 70's Show and The Simpsons.

    He was senior VFX Supervisor for the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride experience at Universal Studios Orlando, Tokyo and Los Angeles. He is currently Post Production VFX supervisor for M. Night Shyamalan’s TV series SERVANT.

  • Kerry Michelle O'Brien

    Kerry Michelle - Starting in the late 80s on 16mm, a stint making Video Disks for immersive interactive projects, early adopter of Quicktime tech, Lightworks expert, director of live music TV and selling her soul to commercials and gameshows. Finally Kerry became a product specialist at Adobe helping launch Creative Suite in Europe and then touring launching CS3 in major cities across the USA.

    Working as a production and pipeline/workflow expert for major studios, including Disney and Sony, she decided to step back and build out her editorial chops as an AE on feature films and documentaries.

  • Guy Noffsinger

    Guy started his professional life of filmmaking as a US Navy Combat Photographer/Videographer, and served for over 20 years. He became a CBS News affiliate before leaving to work in the motion picture industry at Continental Film and Digital Labs post production facility.

    Guy later travelled to Washington, DC, to work as a video segment producer for a Discovery Channel affiliate at Idea Television, before starting his own production company in LA: Flagship Films, which was awarded several contracts with Warner Brothers Studios, Sony Pictures and Paramount Studios. Guy also pursued other endeavours as an independent documentary producer and even Public Service Announcements (PSAs) which eventually awarded him numerous recognitions including two Emmy Awards.

  • Luisa Winters

    Luisa Winters is a Certified Instructor for Adobe and Apple. Luisa is one of the few Adobe Premiere Pro Master instructors. A well-known artist, Luisa often speaks at different conferences on topics ranging from video editing to compositing and web.

    Luisa is a musician and a certified Private Pilot and a Commercial UAV Pilot. She’s been involved with video production and cinematography for over 30 years. At the beginning of 2019, Luisa joined forces with Mike Sobola to form Mid-Atlantic Drones, LLC, a drone service provider specializing in aerial mapping and cinematography and missions in flight-restricted zones.

  • Matthew Scott

    Matthew is a Digital Media Entrepreneur working hard to change Media Entertainment, Digital Storytelling and Digital Democracy.

    His sole professional purpose is to transform how creators, media brands and media owners create content, engage & empower audiences and how they monetise and grow their reach in our digital world.

    He has 20 years top level experience in the Media Entertainment sector, Marketing and Creative Technology.

  • Nick Harauz

    Nick Harauz is a certified Adobe, Apple, and Avid trainer and founder of Creative 111, a company that specializes in video and motion graphics training. Nick has the uncanny ability to engage his students and create a level of relatedness that keeps them coming back for more. Since 2002, Nick has also worked with domestic and international brands, offering a wide variety of video production and motion graphic services.

  • Elizabeth Blake-Thomas

    Elizabeth Blake-Thomas is a British award-winning filmmaker and philanthropist based in Los Angeles, having recently completed her 8th feature film. Elizabeth is the founder and resident director of the Mother & Daughter Entertainment company, whose motto is “Making Content That Matters,” each project starting a conversation amongst viewers.
