Allié McGuire

Storyteller and Co-Founder of AwareNow Media

Allié Merrick McGuire is a creative visionary, powerful storyteller, and driving force behind cause-driven media. As the co-founder of AwareNow Media and Editor-in-Chief of AwareNow Magazine, she has redefined what it means to tell stories that matter—crafting narratives that raise awareness, spark dialogue, and drive meaningful change.

Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2020, Allié transformed personal adversity into a global advocacy platform. Her documentary Because I Can, keynote presentation of the same name, and companion journal for the MS journey exemplify her belief that creativity thrives not in spite of challenges, but because of them.

With a voice that blends poetic resonance with unapologetic truth, Allié has spoken on stages across the globe—from Detroit to Dubai—addressing audiences ranging from healthcare leaders and nonprofit pioneers to students and fellow creators. Through every medium she touches, she proves that storytelling isn't just an art—it’s a form of activism.
