Patricia Chin-Sweeney
Patricia is a 2x founder, executive coach, and strategic advisor who has spent nearly two decades helping leaders navigate high-stakes transitions, lead with purpose, and build solutions that last.
As co-founder of I-DEV International, she was among the first to bring institutional capital and strategic advisory support to founders and solutions builders across the Global South — advising startups, investors, and philanthropic institutions across 45 countries on growth strategy, capital raise, and impact investment. She led the firm's expansion into Sub-Saharan Africa and helped companies navigate markets across the US, Africa, and Latin America.
Today, through Frontierra, she coaches leaders and founders to get unstuck, own their narrative, and build lasting impact — especially those navigating the tension between legacy and what's next. She also advises family offices, endowments and institutional partners on impact investing and aligning capital with purpose. Patricia serves as a Venture Partner at Beyond Capital Ventures, a women-led VC firm investing in AI, healthcare, financial services, and conscious leadership. She is a frequent speaker on resilient leadership, impact investing and entrepreneurship.
Patricia holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and a BA from Barnard College. She has lived and worked across four continents, and called NYC to Nairobi, and Silicon Valley her homes.
