Trained as an economist and fashion designer, she launched lifestyle brands like Hem Boutique and earned the nickname "The Pant Lady" for her breakthrough pattern making techniques. She co-founded Mission Heirloom, a pioneer medicinal food company that won "Best New Product" on Amazon and challenged how people heal through food.

At Parsons School of Design, she created and taught the "Business and Entrepreneurship" course for five years, earning Teacher of the Year every single one.
